Westlake was aware of how dangerous the intersection was

Numerous complaints were filed with the city regarding the dangers of the intersection dating back to 2012

Despite complaints filed by residents, rulings from the city counsel to ignore these complaints; none of the evidence was allowed at trial. 

Complaints were received as close to one month before the accident.
